And finally, members of the IV team for Newcastle and Durham please bring £21 on Tuesday (if you really can’t make it to guest speakers, then please get in touch with us to sort something out).

The bestiality debate may now be behind us, but there are still a few other good reasons to keep coming to LUDS… so even if you only signed up to listen to a few cheap gags about sheep-shagging, please also consider coming to our third training session:

Please note that the monarchy debate is NOT IN WEEK 5 as we announced on Thursday; it’s actually on the following week and our announcement was completely wrong. So there won’t be anybody there if you go to the council chamber on Tuesday!

Selection for IV teams is due to take place this week - we’re borrowing somebody’s house for this, so meet at the Co-op on Cardigan Road, 6pm sharp on Tuesday evening. If you haven’t signed up as interested but would still like to go to Newcastle and Durham, then please email us as soon as possible.

Well done to all those who have made it through our first two training sessions. By now you should hopefully be ready for our first main debate, and luckily enough that’s exactly what’s coming up in week four. It’s a good one too…
